Lot Type

This determines which fence style is allowed — see Design Guidelines.

Per the Design Guidelines A four-foot black iron or aluminum rail fence with three horizontal rails is the only fencing style permitted on Interior Lots and Public View Lots.

Boundary lines Fences and walls may not be used to block views and are not permitted on property boundary lines as privacy fencing, except as approved by the KCDRB for specific screening purposes.

  • Site plan showing fence location, length, height, and distance from all property lines
  • Material sample, photo, or product spec sheet showing style and color
  • Fence design/elevation detail (rail spacing, post and column design, if applicable)
  • Retaining wall materials (if any wall is included with this application)

I/we have read the current Kelby Creek Design Guidelines and Declaration of Restrictions and understand the requirements pertaining to fences. I/we understand that no fence work may begin until written approval has been granted by the Design Review Board, and that any change to this application must be resubmitted for approval prior to installation.

This application must be signed by the property owner If a contractor or vendor is helping prepare or submit this application, that's welcome — use the optional field below for their information. The signature itself must be the property owner's, since approval is granted to the owner of record, not the contractor.

  • Attach your site plan, material/color samples, elevation detail, and retaining wall materials (if any).
  • Submit by email to DRB@kelbycreeknixa.com, or hand-deliver the packet to a Design Review Board member. If neither is possible, it may be mailed to Kelby Creek Design Review Board, 1312 Kelby Parkway, Nixa, MO 65714.
  • Questions can also be sent to DRB@kelbycreeknixa.com.
